The mandate to enter into interinstitutional negotiations was adopted with 28 votes in favor and 5 against.

Parliament will vote on the Internal Market and Consumer Protection Committee’s reports on the proposed single digital gateway, and on the dual quality of products in the Single Market, on 13.09.18. The digital single gateway provides a user-friendly single entry point to assist citizens and businesses in finding information. The dual quality of goods report refers to, amongst others, the New Deal for Consumers and its proposed changes to the Unfair Commercial Practices Directive.
