cableway installations
Members will consider the amendments tabled to the draft report on cableway installations. Rapporteur López-Istúriz welcomed the proposal for a Regulation as a good example of Union harmonisation legislation. All safety components and subsystems will have to be designed and manufactured in compliance with the essential requirements provided for by the Regulation. The Rapporteur supported the change from a Directive to a Regulation as it will avoid unnecessary transposition costs.
