Poster of the hearing on Non-tariff barriers to Trade in the Internal Market

On 14 January at 15:45, IMCO Committee will hold a hearing on Non-tariff barriers to Trade in the Internal Market. The hearing will focus on Cross-cutting NTBs in the Single Market and on Sector-specific NTBs: what they are and how to address them. On 14 January, IMCO Committee will hold a hearing on Non-tariff barriers to Trade in the Internal Market. The discussions will focus on defining and addressing cross-cutting NTBs in the Single Market and sector-specific NTBs.

Draft Programme

On 14 January AM, IMCO Members will vote on the opening of inter-institutional negotiations on Accessibility of public sector bodies' websites, on the text agreed during inter-institutional negotiations on High common level of network and information security across the Union and on the Corrigendum to Regulation (EU) No 168/2013 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 15 January 2013 on Approval and market surveillance of two- or three-wheel vehicles.

The European Parliament is planning to conclude a Framework Service Contract (FSC) in six lots for the provision of external expertise on regulatory and policy issues in the fields of Internal Market, Digital Single Market, Public Procurement, Customs Union and Consumer Policy. The planned FSC is intended to support the work of the IMCO Committee by enabling it to order (studies, briefings, workshops, etc.) within its areas of competence. The time limit for receipt of tenders is on 15.02.16
