Highlights - Validation of coordinator’s recommendation on “unfinished business” - Committee on the Internal Market and Consumer Protection

According to Rule 229 of the Rules of Procedure, all Parliaments’ unfinished business shall be deemed to have lapsed, unless at the beginning of the new parliamentary term the Conference of Presidents decides to resume or continue them. In that context, the Committees are invited to conduct a screening exercise concerning the legislative files still open and inform the CCC on the way in which they intend to handle them. At their meeting on 8 September, IMCO committee endorsed (28-0-2) the coordinator’s recommendation.
