Highlights - Cableway installations – 3 December AM - Committee on the Internal Market and Consumer Protection

Mr López-Istúriz presented his draft report on the proposal for a regulation on cableway installations. The rapporteur supports the proposal and the change from a directive into a regulation as it will simplify the regulatory environment. Special attention is given to guarantee the consistency of the text with the new legislative framework decision and the alignment package adopted during the 7th legislature. The rapporteur also proposes to include specific market surveillance rules.
