Highlights - Consideration of draft report on EEA-Switzerland – 20 April PM - Committee on the Internal Market and Consumer Protection

The Rapporteur will present his own-INI Report focusing on the implementation deficit of the three EEA EFTA States (Iceland,Norway, Liechtenstein), the relations with Andorra, Monaco and San Marino, and the relations with Switzerland in light of the vote on the popular initiative"Against Mass Immigration" and the request by the Swiss Authorities to renegotiate the Free Movement of Persons Agreement (FMPA) with a view to introduce quota or national preference. A hearing is planned on 7 May.
