Highlights - Votes and Legislative scrutiny on combating late payment in commercial transactions - Committee on the Internal Market and Consumer Protection

On22-23 June IMCO will discuss/vote on the opinions on Emission limits and type-approval for internal combustion engines for non-road mobile machinery and possible extension of geographical indication protection of the EU to non-agricultural products. IMCO will also hold a legislative scrutiny session on late payment Directive, with the participation of DG GROW. The Directive was adopted in 2011 in order to protect European businesses against late payment and to improve their competitiveness
