On 9 November, Ms E. Bienkoswka, Commissioner responsible for Internal Market, Industry, Entrepreneurship and SMES, will present the Commission's new Single Market Strategy "Upgrading the Single Market: more opportunities for people and business". The strategy focused on three main areas: creating additional opportunities for consumers, professionals and businesses; encouraging the modernisation and innovation that Europe needs; and ensuring practical benefits for people in their daily lives.
