Highlights - Vote on Trade in Services Agreement (TiSA) - Committee on the Internal Market and Consumer Protection

The IMCO Committee rejected the draft opinion to INTA containing recommendations to the Commission on the negotiations for the Trade in Services Agreement (TiSA) by a tight vote of 19 against 19, with 2 abstentions. The rejection came as a consequence of a number of amendments that had been adopted during the vote, the result of which was unable to secure a majority in the Committee.
