Highlights - Towards a Digital Single Market Act: joint committee debate - Committee on the Internal Market and Consumer Protection

The IMCO and ITRE Committees will meet to go over the compromise amendments to the strategic initiative report on achieving a Digital Single Market Act. The Commission's proposed strategy is built on three pillars: better access to online goods and services, the right conditions for digital networks and services, and maximising the growth potential of the digital economy. The meeting will be held on 1st December and the vote is foreseen to take place on 14 December 2015.
