Highlights - Towards a Digital Single Market Act: joint committee vote - Committee on the Internal Market and Consumer Protection

The draft report was adopted by 80 votes in favor, 6 against and 3 abstentions. 1287 AMs to the draft report had been tabled (not counting the opinions given by other Committees), and 54 compromises were reached among political groups. Following the agreement reached with JURI, LIBE, CULT and EMPL under Rule 54, with regard to their exclusive competences in some parts of the file, a total of 58 paragraphs from the opinions from these Committees will be added directly to the final text adopted.

Many of the remaining amendments of these Committees have been includedin the Compromises reached among political Groups.

The vote in plenary will take place in January 2016.
