The new Commissioner-designate for Health and Consumer Protection, Mr Tonio Borg, will be heard by MEPs upon invitation by the ENVI Committee, in association with the IMCO and AGRI committees. Mr Borg, currently Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Malta, was nominated to take over this portfolio following the resignation of Mr John Dalli. The hearing will take place on 13.11.12, from 15.00, and will be webstreamed.
