Highlights - Vote on the mandate on Firearms Directive - Committee on the Internal Market and Consumer Protection

IMCO committee gave on 5th September 2016 the green light for the opening of the negotiations with the EU Council on the Control of the acquisition and possession of weapons (revision of the Firearms Directive) by 24 votes for, 3 against and 5 abstentions. The trilogues are due to start at the end of September.
