The Communication looks at the collaborative economy, innovative ways of providing services/activities and the variety of new collaborative economy services models and aims at providing guidance/answer to questions with regard to the application of existing body of EU law. Established lines between traditional/non-traditional provision of services are blurred and many ensuing sensitive questions arise, such as market access requirements, consumer protection, liability, labour law and taxation.
