After a first presentation of the overall eCommerce package in June, the Committee will hold its exchange of views on the proposed geo-blocking regulation on 29 September (rapporteur MEP Róza THUN (EPP)). The draft regulation aims to tackle unjustified geo-blocking practices used by some online sellers, meaning that customers cannot buy certain products or services from traders located in another Member State or they do not enjoy equally advantageous prices in comparison with local clients.
