IMCO votes in Plenary
The European Parliament will vote on its report on a legal framework for breaches of the EU’s customs legislation, providing penalties in case of infringements, on 25.10.16. The report as tabled by Committee on Internal Market and Consumer Protection replaces the proposed strict liability system by one where sanctions depend on whether they are serious or minor. Parliament will then vote on the Council’s position concerning the accessibility of public sector bodies' websites on 26.10.16.
