The European Parliament voted on its report on a legal framework for breaches of the EU’s customs legislation, providing penalties in case of infringements, on 25.10.16. The report as tabled by IMCO Committee repllaces the proposed strict liability system by one where sanctions depend on whether they are serious or minor. Parliament also voted on the Council’s position concerning the accessibility of public sector bodies' websites on 26.10.16.
