Highlights - Tackling the challenges of the Union Customs Code implementation - Committee on the Internal Market and Consumer Protection

IMCO supported unanimously a draft motion for a resolution on tackling the challenges of the Union Customs Code implementation. The draft resolution calls for increased effectiveness of the regulatory framework and requests a thorough review to be made by the Commission of the whole policy area, as well as a fitness check and a new impact assessment.
