The European Parliament will discuss and vote on 14 March on the text agreed after four rounds of informal trialogue negotiations on the Firearms Directive. The co-legislators reached an initial political agreement on the revised text, including on the medical review provisions, the categorisation of high-capacity semi-automatic firearms, the provisions on high capacity magazines, the provisions on collectors, museums and target shooters, and the provisions on deactivation.
