Highlights - European standards - implementation of Regulation (EU) No 1025/2012: committee vote - Committee on the Internal Market and Consumer Protection

On 30 May, Members adopted the own-initiative report on standardisation by 34 votes in favour, 0 against and 2 abstentions.

The Members encourage the Commission to promote more EU cooperation internationally, to address the lack of transparency especially for SMEs, to make sure that all stakeholders are included in the standardisation process, as well as to include the collaborative economy and accessibility into the report.
