Highlights - European services e-card: public hearing - Committee on the Internal Market and Consumer Protection

On 21 June, IMCO will hold a hearing on the European services e-card in the context of the IMCO Reports. The hearing will be organised in two panel discussions with invited experts. The first panel of experts will exchange views on "Tackling administrative and regulatory barriers in the Services market" with a focus on whether there is a case for the Services e-card, whether the COM proposal is the appropriate measure to tackle persisting problems, and whether it will lower the existing barriers

or whether there is a risk of creating additional/duplicative requirements and complexity. The second panel will provide a more detailed and critical look on the Services - e card proposal.
