Highlights - European Standards and lifetime of products in the Plenary agenda - Committee on the Internal Market and Consumer Protection

The INI reports on European Standards and longer lifetime for products will be discussed in Plenary on 3 July and voted on 4 July 2017. The report on standards focused on improving the standardisation system and strengthening the international role of European standardisation. The report on longer lifetime for products propose measures that make the choice of repair of goods attractive to the consumer and the support to repairs and second-hand sales.
