On 11 October PM, Members will consider the amendments tabled to the legislative report on Proportionality test before adoption of new regulation of professions and to the own-INI report on implementation of Directive 2005/36/EC as regards regulation and the need for reform in professional services.
The report on regulated professions promotes smart regulation and underlines that any professional regulation should be non-discriminatory, justified and proportionate to facilitate access
to professions, hence generating benefits for consumers, jobs and innovation in the EU.
