Highlights - 15th meeting of the IMCO Working Group on the Digital Single Market - Committee on the Internal Market and Consumer Protection

Under the title: How can we fight against the fake-news phenomenon to have a Digital Single Market based on trust? MEPs, Representatives of the European Commission and Participants will discuss on the challenges and opportunities of this proposal at the working group meeting on 19 March. Reliable sources of information are key to well-functioning Digital Single Market - misinformation or fake-news have direct effects on consumers behaviour and the decisions they make on the market.
