The European Parliament approved by 570 votes to 23, with 26 abstentions a report on the implementation of the Directive 2011/7/EU on combating late payment in commercial transactions. The report calls for a proper implementation of the 2011 directive in all its parts and proposes a combination of legal and voluntary measures to improve the payment behaviour in the EU.
