IMCO Members adopted by 28 for, 1 against and 0 abstentions the report on strengthening the competitiveness of the Internal Market by developing the EU customs union and its governance. The report reviews the implementation of customs legislation in the light of the recent news, such as the delay in developing the electronic systems needed to fully implement the Union Customs Code, and the findings of the Court of Auditors on the consequences of this delay.
