On 13 February, MEPs will vote on a proposal to improve the current motor insurance directive in order to better protect road accident victims. The new rules will guarantee fair compensations for victims, discourage the use of uninsured cars and ensure equal treatment of policyholders from different EU countries.
On 14 February, the reports on "Mutual recognition of goods lawfully marketed in another Member State" and on "strenghtening the competitiveness of the Internal Market by develping the EU customs union and its governance" will also be voted.
