On 13 February, the Parliament approved in plenary by 520 votes to 125, with 33 abstentions the amended proposal on the Single Market Programme 2021-2027. Stepping up market surveillance and product safety, strengthening consumer protection, supporting SMEs and adapting to digital challenges are the focus of the new Single Market Programme.
