Parliament will vote on the provisional inter-institutional agreement on the proposed regulation on import of cultural goods - considered as items important for archaeology, prehistory, history, literature, art or science. UNESCO reports show that the black market of antiquities and culture constitutes one of the most persistent illegal trades in the world. Amongst other things, the proposal puts in place effective deterrents to trafficking. The vote will take place on 12.03.19.
