Highlights - Resumed hearing of Commisioner-designate Sylvie Goulard - Committee on the Internal Market and Consumer Protection

On 10 October 2019, at 09.30 Ms Goulard, Commissioner-designate for Internal market, will appear for the second time before the Committee on Internal Market and Consumer Protection and the Committee on Industry, Research and Energy. After the hearing of the 2 October it was decided to ask additional written question and to hold a second hearing for the Members to resume the cross-examination of Ms Goulard on her suitability for the role. The hearing will last one hour and a half.

Following that hearing, the presidents and political groups' coordinators from both committees met to assess the performance of the Commissioner-designate.
