Highlights - Hearing of Thierry Breton, Commissioner-designae for Internal Market - Committee on the Internal Market and Consumer Protection

On 14 November 2019, Mr Breton, Commissioner-designate for Internal Market, appeared before the Committee on Internal Market and Consumer Protection and the Committee on Industry, Research and Energy. The hearing lasted three hours and, after an opening statement from the Commissioner-designate, Members asked questions related to his portfolio aimed at evaluating whether Mr Breton is qualified to be Member of the College and to carry out the particular duties assigned to him.
