
On 9 November, IMCO will vote on the draft opinion to the ENVI own-initiative report on “New Circular Economy Action Plan”.
The rapporteur for the opinion is Ms Anna Cavazzini (Greens/EFA). The draft opinion highlights various IMCO policy areas, which are crucial to the circular economy. Members tabled 117 amendments to the draft opinion. The Rapporteur has proposed a series of draft compromises on all the aspects covered in the draft opinion, such as fostering reparability of products, consumer information and transparency, green public procurement and standardisation.
