Highlights - Exchange of views with representatives of the EC Task Force for Relations with the UK - Committee on the Internal Market and Consumer Protection

On the 14 January during the extraordinary committee IMCO Members held an Exchange of views with representatives of the European Commission's Task Force for Relations with the United Kingdom, on the Agreement on a New Partnership with the UK.

Full implementation of the provisions of the Withdrawal Agreement and in particular the Protocol on Ireland and Northern Ireland is of utmost importance for IMCO and it is to be considered as a cornerstone for the future relationship with the United Kingdom and an integral part of the new relationship between the EU and the UK.
