On Monday 26 April, an extraordinary Committee meeting will be organised in order to vote on IMCO's recommendation for the EP second reading position (single vote) of the MFF Single Market Programme (Rapporteur Mr Brando Benifei – S&D).
The MFF Single Market Programme is the new 4.2 billion programme to strengthen the Internal Market, to ensure support for SMEs, promote consumer protection, support actions related to animals, plants, food and feed, as well as statistics. The announcement in Plenary of the Council's first reading position (based on the provisional agreement reached in December 2020) is expected to take place on the same day.
