Highlights - Committee call for ambitious push to digital single market - Committee on the Internal Market and Consumer Protection

The European Parliament voted on 4th July on a motion for resolution on completing the digital single market. The resolution calls for an ambitious strategy of policy and legislation in order to address existing barriers in the Digital Single Market and respond to new and upcoming developments such as cloud computing, the emergence of the 'big data' economy and the necessary investments in fixed and mobile networks.
