Highlights - Vote on Electronic invoicing in public procurement - Committee on the Internal Market and Consumer Protection

On 17 December, Members voted on the report by 32 votes in favour, 1 against, 0 abstentions. The committee also unanimously (31 votes in favour) gave a green light to start informal negotiations with the Council on the amended draft directive with a view to reaching agreement at first reading. The trialogues are expected to take place in early January – February 2014, whereas the Council negotiation mandate has already been adopted.
