Highlights - Hearing: Non-tariff barriers to Trade in the Internal Market - Committee on the Internal Market and Consumer Protection

IMCO organised a public hearing in order to discuss with experts non-tariff barriers (NTBs) to trade in the internal market. With the participation of eight experts and of representatives of the Dutch Council Presidency and the Commission, the hearing focused on what are the remaining NTBs - both high-level and sector-specific - and how to address them. This hearing will provide an input to the own-initiative report on non-tariff barriers in the single market, drafted by Daniel Dalton (ECR).
