Highlights - Control of the acquisition and possession of weapons (Firearms directive): vote - Committee on the Internal Market and Consumer Protection

On 26 January, IMCO Members will vote on the text agreed at the fourth trialogue meeting on Firearms Directive. The co-legislators reached an initial political agreement on the outstanding issues, including the medical review provisions, the categorisation of high-capacity semi-automatic firearms, the provisions on high capacity magazines, the provisions on collectors and target shooters and the provisions on deactivation.
